Sunny Soggy

Martha and I rode 32 miles over a mountain pass to watch the Soggy Bottom 100 this year. The riders triple that. Some even with a smile. The sun was out and kept everyone's day shining but no need to worry. It rained enough yesterday to make sure everyone got a Soggy Bottom. You can check out more on the ride at AKSpokes.com or head to mombok.com/soggy to look through my photos from the last three years of Soggy.

David,
I don't know if you still remember me but I just finished watching the Encounters at the End of the World and remembered you and your stay in Antarctica. This is Emir. I studied at UNL and you were one of my instructors in backpacking and climbing classes. After graduation I moved to Minneapolis, MN and now I am in Portland, OR. I just wanted to drop a word and say "hi". I hope everything is well on your end. Let me know where you are these days, i.e. where you're traveling right now.
