Softball and the Dollhouse

Softball is the name of the game in Moose Pass these days. Shortly after moving into our new place Martha began practice with her team, Mountain Madness. The Moose Pass softball league draws players from Moose Pass and Cooper Landing. A combined population under a thousand and nine teams registered makes the chances of playing your neighbor pretty good. Martha's next game is against a good portion of our neighborhood's residents.

Avalanche Acres is a quiet neighborhood. We live in the guest house of our closest neighbors. The cabin is quite small but has its priorities straight; no running water but there is high-speed internet. Size is of little consequence though. We spend little time here and will spend less as work increasingly leads us into the field. And if we do feel a little cramped it is easy to step outside to some wonderful views including this view of Mt. L.V. Ray from our backyard.
