Shin deep mud trying to suck of your shoe can be bothersome. Slick mud on steep slopes is downright dangerous. And cold hands packing a wet muddy tent are some of my least favorite things.

Sunshine on a campsite warming me up. Imposing towers in the distance giving a sense of size. And policemen who served coffee, baked fresh bread and sang songs were my most favorite.
